Dining with babies, Portland edition

One thing you realize quickly when you have a kid is not all restaurants are kid friendly. Luckily, here in Portland, we have some good options so we don't feel like we can't leave the house.

Just blocks away from our place is Hopworks Urban Brewery, aka HUB. This place is insane on the weekends with over an hour wait, which was hard to believe at first since it's on the busy Powell Blvd.

HUB has a fairly large menu with pizzas, calzones, salads, burgers and what have you...and their award winning beer. All of which has been pretty tasty so far. You can also get a sampler tray of all their beers which is fun. (And, their Pint "o" Pretzels appetizer is so good! - Sarah)

For the kids they've got these hammock cradle's for car seats and even a toddler play area with chalkboards and toys. I have a feeling I'm going to become very familiar with this place.
